Since joining BRAC USA in September 2011, Scott served in various roles including Communications Manager, Senior Writer, Senior Advisor, speechwriter for Sir Fazle Hasan Abed and most recently as Director of Learning and Innovation. He is the author of Hope Over Fate: Fazle Hasan Abed and the Science of Ending Global Poverty, a biography of Sir Fazle.

Scott brings with him a wealth of experience and profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing BRAC International, having worked in grants management, donor liaison and representing BRAC at international platforms and educational institutions.

Before joining BRAC USA, Scott worked as freelance writer and journalist and has published several works on international development. He began his career as an investigative reporter for Prague Business Journal covering Czech monetary policy, corporate finance, equity and debt markets, European Union integration and foreign direct investment.

Scott completed his Bachelor of Arts in English from Amherst College, Massachusetts, USA.
