Rwanda

BRAC began its journey in Rwanda in 2019. It is the most densely populated country in Africa, with a population of 13 million and growing.

Despite significant progress in reducing poverty, many families still face barriers such as unemployment, climate change, and limited access to financial services. We partner with communities to make sure they have the tools to build a better future for themselves.

I am truly impressed by the achievements of BRAC in Rwanda, especially through the YEAH project. I have seen its real impact in empowering young people, strengthening economic resilience, and increasing awareness around sexual and reproductive health and rights. The government remains committed to supporting such initiatives that enable Rwandan youth to become active agents of change and contributors to our country’s development.”
